Into the Twilight

A fairy holds your gaze, a look of surprise on her face that you were even able to find her in the depths of this enchanted forest. The air is thick with mystery and magic, and at twilight, her beauty and magic are at their strongest, casting an ethereal glow throughout the surrounding trees. A crown of stars dances about her head, twinkling like diamonds against the darkening sky, while her delicate wings flutter and shimmer, displaying a mesmerizing array of rainbow hues in the fading light. Similarly, her hair flows like a cascade of colors, equally as brilliantly vibrant as her wings, as though the essence of the forest itself has infused her with its splendor. Butterflies gather around and on her, feeling safe in her presence, drawn to her enchanting aura, as she smiles gently, radiating warmth and serenity that calms even the wildest creatures of the woods. It is a moment frozen in time, where magic feels palpable, inviting all who venture too close to abandon their worries and embrace the wonder of the fairy realm.

I found this piece a joy to work on since one of my favorite things is to incorporate vibrant rainbow colors into the palette. It was also a learning experience to figure out how to paint her wings to be translucent while reflecting a rainbow shimmer. It's personally one of my favorite pieces and encapsulates some of my favorite subjects to paint in all in one piece. 

Measuring 24x30 inches, this original oil painting is a one-of-a-kind piece. Signed by the artist and stamped with a certificate of authenticity. 

In addition to the original, only 10 limited edition signed prints will ever be created. Once sold, no further reproductions of that format will be made.
