"Max & Roxie: A Mouse in the House" features the wild and mischievous adventures of two chaotic cats and the trouble they get into. When an exceptionally cunning mouse finds its way into the house, it's Max and Roxie's job to get him out. However, that's easier said than done with this mouse, finding creative ways to dodge their attempts at every turn. Will they prevail and fulfill their parent's request? Or, will the mouse get the best of them in the end?

This comic book story is the first of its kind from author Linda Icenhour and illustrator Amber Icenhour Calderon. Having published primarily traditional children's books up until now, this book presented unique challenges to complete. The completion process took an estimated 10 years, with art style changes, manuscript rewrites, and other projects taking priority. This book reads similarly to a traditional Sunday comics style, reading left to right and top to bottom.

The author of this book, Linda Icenhour, and the illustrator, Amber Icenhour Calderon, are a mother/daughter team who create adorable children's book stories from fantasy to based on true stories.
